Unfortunately, the group disbanded in October of 2018 and it is going on 4 years since they disbanded. This leads to the question, where are the RAINZ members now almost 4 years after their disbandment? Let’s find out what each member is getting up to!
1. SeongRi
After the disbandment, SeongRi made his solo debut in the first half of 2019. He has been releasing mini-albums and singles since then. He has even been on a number of trot programs to compete and perform.
2. WonTak
After RAINZ disbanded, WonTak went on to debut solo in November of 2018. Unfortunately, in May of 2019, WonTak fell into a legal dispute whilst trying to terminate his contract with his company. He still appears to be doing music and performing idol stages though.
3. KiWon
After their disbandment, KiWon became part of a 5-member pre-debut group called GIDONGDAE. They had released a pre-debut single in June 2020, however, their debut was revealed to have been canceled in January of 2021. KiWon is currently an independent singer-songwriter using the stage name ONE.KI.
4. DaeHyeon
Following the disbandment, DaeHyeon made his solo debut in August 2019. In 2020, it was announced that he would debut as part of the boy group WEi under OUI Entertainment in October 2020. He is currently active as a WEi member using his full name Jang DaeHyeon.
5. EunKi
After RAINZ disbanded, EunKi left his agency in 2019 to promote on his own. He is now a solo artist (debuted in 2019) and actor under Daol Entertainment using his full name Hong EunKi. He even acted in the K-Drama “IDOL: The Coup” in 2021, becoming part of the drama’s project boy group MARS using the stage name Yul.
6. HyunMin
Following their disbandment, HyunMin became a member of the co-ed group K-TIGERS ZERO in late 2019. He is now a singer and martial artist.
7. SungHyuk
After the disband, SungHyuk changed agencies in 2019 and released a song dedicated to fans called ‘Good Night. My Dear’. In 2021, he became a contestant on the MBC survival show “Extreme Debut: Wild Idol”. He made the final debut group and just debuted as a member of TAN on March 10, 2022.
