This pairing is a power couple if we’ve ever seen one, and we’re certain that it will take the drama to a whole other level.
2. “Cheer Up”
Cast: Han JiHyun, Bae InHyuk, and Kim HyunJin Summary: A campus romance drama surrounding the cheer squad of Yeonhee University where young individuals navigate the struggles of adulthood, romance, friendships, and more. Reasons To Watch: Cheerleading, as a sport, is not one that is given enough representation in the K-Drama industry. As a matter of fact, it was not even acknowledged as a sport until recently, which speaks volumes of how underappreciated it is. As such, “Cheer Up” will be an amazing premise to promote cheerleading and show us a world that has remained mostly hidden.

Cast: Jeon YeoBeen, After School’s NaNa. Summary: “Glitch” follows the journey of JiHyo, who sees aliens but tries to ignore them, and BoRa, who is an alien enthusiast and has been tracking aliens for a long time, as they try to uncover the mystery of the disappearance of JiHyo’s boyfriend. Reasons To Watch: If you’ve been waiting for a female-driven sci-fi fantasy drama, “Glitch” will be perfect for you. Being led by Jeon YeoBeen and NaNa, this drama is bound to be thoroughly entertaining, intriguing, and refreshing, all at the same time. If there’s anything we can tell from the trailers, it is that “Glitch” is going to be one incredible ride.
4. “The Queen’s Umbrella”
Cast: Kim HyeSoo, Kim HaeSook, Choi WonYoung, Moon SangMin, SF9’s Chani, Yoo SeonHo, Yoon SangHyeon, Kim MinGi Summary: “The Queen’s Umbrella” tells the story of the dignified and graceful Queen HwaRyeong, who dismisses the royal protocol of education to raise her troublesome sons into proper princes. Reasons To Watch: Kim HyeSoo is one of the most revered actresses in the Korean entertainment industry, known for taking on complex roles that leave a lasting impression. In “The Queen’s Umbrella”, she is embracing a maternal character who refuses to be burdened by her title and other political intrigue and instead prioritizes the proper education of her children so that they grow up to be fine young men. It will be interesting to see the different sides of Queen HwaRyeong as she takes on this herculean task.
5. “May I Help You?”
Cast: Girl’s Day’s HyeRi, Lee JunYoung Summary: A funeral director with the strange ability to communicate with the spirit realm is compelled to grant the last wishes of the deceased or else is plagued by bad luck. She enlists the help of an errand service employee who will do anything for a given wage, and the two forge a precious relationship in the process. Reasons To Watch: “May I Help You?” has the perfect fantasy-to-reality ratio to keep its viewers engaged through an omnibus-style narrative. HyeRi and Lee JunYoung are visually fantastic together, and they’re both known for their knack for comedy. As such, be prepared for heartbreaks, wholesome moments, and lots of butterflies.
