This year, there is one more BL web drama announced and it has already interested many as it is based on the popular web novel “Semantic Error”. The web novel was also adapted into the webtoon of the same title. Raemongraein Production (who produced “The Zombie Detective”, “When I Was Most Beautiful”, “Extraordinary You”, etc) is in charge of the web drama adaptation. They are planning to complete the production in the first half of 2021 and air the web drama this year. No actors were cast yet. The campus BL “Semantic Error” tells the romance of the game developer Choo SangWoo and the designer Jang JaeYoung. Choo SangWoo is an outsider who is inflexible and keeps strictly to the rules, he is a student of the Computer Engineering Department. Jang JaeYoung is the campus star and an insider who has a model-like body and handsome looks, he is a student of the Design Department. The web novel was written by Jeosuri in 2018 and the webtoon adaptation started in July 2020 (still ongoing with the illustrations from Enji). It is popular in the Korean BL community.
