Can we all agree that the year 2022 is the year of (G)I-DLE? They are truly fearless and anti-fragile as these intense and bone-breaking dance moves are fiercely executed, showing their core strength, clean and air-cutting motions, and vibrant energy on stage.
7. NewJeans - ‘Hype Boy’
Perhaps the hottest debut this year, New Jeans have earned their super rookie status with their global and viral hit records. The addictive choreography that accompanies the music is perhaps also what makes it so much more enjoyable. Fun and trendy, they made us all excitedly dance along (whether we could correctly do the moves or not). The stage performances beautifully encapsulated everything the song meant, fun, bright, happy, and lovely. NewJeans’ stage presence is top tier and we excitedly wait to see what they bring in 2023.
8. Billlie - ‘GingaMingaYo (the strange world)’ and ‘RING ma bell (what a wonderful world)’
We cannot say that Billlie are underrated anymore as by 2023, we can boldly predict that they would see a massive rise in global popularity. With quality sounds and performances like these, music lovers are bound to find them amazing, and sooner rather than later, they will be revered by many as a fire force, a group serving something different, refreshingly unique, and completely exciting.
9. TWICE - ‘Talk That Talk’
We patiently waited for their comeback and they delivered! And beyond every expectation, we might add. Vocals, visuals, choreography, outfits, all a big green check mark! TWICE’s stages have always been entertaining and noteworthy, and with ‘Talk That Talk’ they continued their reign of producing and delivering standard performances.
