This series will explore some of the idols who have so much modeling potential that people who see them for the first time might confuse them with models instead of K-Pop idols. Check out the rest of our “Idol vs. Model” articles here! Readers voted for GOT7’s BamBam in our weekly poll to be featured this week. Before starting this week’s series, you can vote for who you want to see featured in next week’s article. Back to this week’s feature! BamBam is famous as a member of the legendary and innovative boy group GOT7. He is known for his charming stage charisma and hilarious endearing personality. Let’s take a look at BamBam’s gallery of model potential. Ahgase (iGOT7) always joke that models should be glad that BamBam chose to be an idol, otherwise he would’ve put them out of business. We could not agree more. BamBam could easily be a professional model. One of the best aspects of BamBam’s model/fashion persona is his confidence in bold styling choices. BamBam is not afraid to experiment with different fashion looks and wears everything as if the concept was personally designed for him. BamBam works just as hard when it comes to fashion as he does in his other industry activities. His profound understanding of fashion styles and trends is part of what makes him such an inspirational icon. He has even released lookbooks explaining details down to his stage outfits during promotion periods, proving how much attention to detail he puts into his influence. For example, during his “riBBon” promotion period, he incorporated a lot of ribbon-related details into his outfits with different focal points. Many fans have thus expressed their desire for him to start his own clothing line. He is not just model-worthy but on a fashion designer’s level. Check out this lookbook where he walks us through his outfits from the era. This video also highlights his love for androgynous fashion. He specifically mentions how he enjoyed wearing outfits that draw the line between masculinity and feminity. We have to say that he looks killer in androgynous fashion for sure. To top his actual styling, BamBam’s visuals are also indisputably handsome. His facial proportions and full features add to his visual charm. It makes perfect sense that he has modeled so many cosmetic products. On top of that, he has great proportions for runway modeling. His long legs accentuate his fashion looks even more. We hope to see him walking more runway shows in the future.

— jessi (@jskmyn) August 20, 2019 Let’s take a final moment to appreciate how ethereal his visuals are in black and white, too. These are only a few of the reasons that he could totally be a full-time model. If you knew nothing about K-Pop or GOT7, BamBam would definitely seem like a model at first glance. Do you agree?
