TWICE members continue to prove their talents as artist, as some of the members contributed in the production for some of the tracks of the album. ChaeYoung wrote the lyrics for the track ‘Basics’, while JiHyo, the group’s leader, composed, wrote lyrics and directed the vocals for the track, ‘Trouble’. Another member, DaHyun, was also credited for writing the lyrics for the track ‘Gone’, and ‘When We Were Kids’. Other tracks of the album are ‘Queen of Hearts’, and ‘Brave’. The music video of ‘Talk That Talk’ creatively features multiple backdrops and TWICE carrying out a mission to hear the word “L-O-V-E”. The music video shows the members’ journey as the break the “code” given by ONCE. The title track has a catchy melody and an energetic choreography that bring fun and a high dose of energy, in TWICE’s way. The song has the message encouraging to openly show what is in one’s heart. Last month, the group achieved a milestone, being nominated for their second MTV Video Music Award, for the category “Best K-Pop”, for their track ‘The Feels’. Last May, the group was also busy with wrapping up “TWICE 4th World Tour” with their back-to-back, sold out performances at the Banc of California Stadium, in Los Angeles. These was another milestone for TWICE, being the first female K-Pop group to perform at the stadium in the U.S. The group also made their U.S. broadcast debut with their appearance at “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, where they performed their Billboard 100 hit, ‘The Feels’.
