Last time, we explored “8 Female K-Pop Idols That Own Blonde Hair”, so this time, we’ll be looking at the effortless redheads. In this article, we’ll discuss the female K-Pop idols that once they debuted their flaming locks, anyone who looked at them would wonder how they weren’t born with those colours.
1. LOONA’s GoWon
For the finale of “Queendom 2” and their subsequent summer special comeback, a number of LOONA members switched up their hair game. One of the most significant was GoWon, because when she debuted copper hair, it took fans by storm. That may have been the first time ORBITs saw GoWon rock such colours, but they all agree that she looked in her element with that hair colour, like she didn’t need to try and pull the colour off. Redhead GoWon also tried a bunch of hairstyles, so it was always a new thing going on with her copper locks that fans could hardly get enough of.
2. Kep1er’s YeSeo
Also debuting red locks for the “Queendom 2” finale, YeSeo switched up her signature brunette hair to a red theme. Being the maknae with contagious charms, this change made her even lovelier and more adorable. Some Kep1ians were stunned by this bold change on the maknae’s part, but they far from complained. She just looked way too spectacular with those locks.
3. BLACKPINK’s Jennie
When Jennie first debuted her warm amber locks on April 10, fans were positively obsessed with her new look. Jennie has tried some experimental colour patterns since BLACKPINK’s debut in 2016, and adding amber tones to the list is a huge flex. The colour suits her so well, it’s a wonder she hadn’t made this dye decision sooner. Considering how she chose a slightly lighter tone, it gave her that fresh, positive aura that BLINKs love her for.
4. WJSN’s Exy
While WJSN prepped for their “Queendom 2” final performance with ‘Aura’, Exy debuted beautiful red locks. The colour looked absolutely great on her, and her skin tone complemented the colour change perfectly. She took a simpler styling route as her red hair was mostly straight with the side part or middle part occasionally. All we can say is the WJSN leader looks outstanding with red hair, and fans hope she keeps the colour for a long time.
5. VIVIZ’s UmJi
Considering most Na.Vs—and BUDDYs— have only watched a brunette UmJi for a long while, this switch up was a pleasant surprise. Also during preparations for their “Queendom 2” final performance, UmJi dyed her dark locks to a strawberry blonde shade. Her locks sported pinkish highlights as well, which gave it a refreshing twist. UmJi seemed to shine even more with this choice of colour, and it’s why fans can hardly take their gaze off her wherever they see her. What idols with red hair are your absolute favourites? Are there more idols you’d wish were on the list? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
